Take advantage of the numerous athletic activities available for keiki on Lanai this summer!
June’s free programming includes a junior golf clinic, tennis lessons and running club. See below for more details on fun activities that will keep your children healthy and busy!
Running Club Ages 7 – 12
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Keiki ages 7 through 12 are invited to join Running Club this summer and train for the TriLanai 5K on August 13. Meet at the pool at 10:00 a.m. and partake in dynamic warmups and stretching, light jogging and interval workouts tailored to beginning runners.
Tennis Lessons Ages 5 – 17
June 20 – June 29 (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
Ages 5-7: 12:30 p.m.
Ages 8-10: 1:00 p.m.
Ages 11-12: 1:30 p.m.
Ages 13-17: 2:00 p.m.
Coach Ryan Winters from the Four Seasons Resort Lanai is offering half hour tennis lessons for four age groups at the community tennis courts. Athletes will learn basic ground strokes, fore strokes, back strokes, net game and how to serve. Participants must wear closed toe shoes. Balls and rackets are provided.
Junior Golf Clinic Ages 7 – 16
June 13 – June 16, 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Under the tutelage of the golf pros at Manele Golf Course, beginner golfers will learn the fundamentals of the game, including how to swing, drive, chip and putt. Rides to the course are available from the pool at 9:30 a.m. Closed toe shoes required.
