New car rental option on Lanai

It is always an exciting time when family and friends visit Lanai. Whether your guests grew up on the island or are making their first trip, they offer an opportunity to explore your favorite sites. However, if you don’t have an extra car or truck to lend out, transportation can sometimes pose a problem and your visitors may find it challenging to get to Hulopoe Beach Park, or any of their favorite spots on the island.

Renting a vehicle is one way to help visitors get around. Lanai Car Rental, located at 949 Lanai Avenue, offers several rental options for a range of needs.

3 Vehicle Options

Chevy Bolt. Does your uncle or auntie need a small car for visits around town? The Chevy Bolt gets good gas mileage and is an affordable option starting at $75 per day.

Jeep Sahara. With only 30 miles of paved road on Lanai and so much more to explore, a vehicle with off-road capability may be necessary. The four-door Jeep Wrangler Sahara has four-wheel drive capability and ample cargo space to haul supplies for a long day at the beach or camping at Lopa.

Ford Transit Minivan. If you are hosting a big event with a lot of off-island guests, such as a first birthday or graduation party, you may need to transport a large group of people. The Ford Transmit Minivan is ideal in those situations because it is built to seat seven passengers and has a fold-away third row for extra storage.

How to reserve a vehicle

To make a reservation, contact Lanai Car Rental at (808) 565-3100 or reservations@lanaicarrental.com. Although walk-in reservations are accepted at the fleet yard office, advanced bookings are highly recommended to ensure vehicle availability. For more information, visit www.lanaicarrental.com.
