Basketball lovers of all ages and skill levels will take it to the net during the Fourth of July weekend at the first ever Lanai Shootout. Held at the community outdoor basketball courts, the three day shootout is a benefit basketball tournament hosted by the Lanai Ballers to support Lanai girls basketball for grades 6-12.

Proceeds will help cover next season’s travel costs, including participation in the Rainbow Warrior Basketball Camp held each year at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

How to Participate in the Lanai Shootout

Think you’re a baller? Sign up for both the 3-on-3 basketball tournament and the special skills challenge. All participants will receive a free T-shirt and prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place teams in all categories. Lucky draw tickets are still available for a chance to win awesome prizes, including Island Air and Expeditions Ferry tickets.

For those who want to be a part of July Madness, Lanai-style, sign ups are being taken until June 30.
