The new program, which entitles members to see unlimited movies within a 90-day period, has 100 inaugural memberships for sale.

Great value for moviegoers

Hale Keaka is a favorite gathering place for film connoisseurs and casual moviegoers of all ages. Residents come to enjoy movies ranging from family-friendly flicks to Oscar-nominated titles.

Since Hale Keaka screens six to eight films per month on average, members of Lanai Movie Club could potentially see 20 new films within a three-month period, for the price of $90 — equivalent to nine regular-priced tickets.

“It’s a huge value for people who love to come to the theater every week to catch the new movies,” said Crimson Soberano, entertainment manager at Hale Keaka. “It makes a great gift for regulars.”

How it works

Those who are interested in purchasing a Lanai Movie Club membership can sign up at the Hale Keaka box office.

To take advantage of your membership benefits, simply show your membership card at the box office to receive a ticket to a showing of your choice.

Use your card as many times as you like within the 90-day period — however, you cannot buy more than one ticket per movie showing. Be sure to bring your photo ID to the theater to verify that you are the cardholder.

“We’re excited that Lanai Movie Club will invite more people to discover new films and enjoy our theater experience,” said Soberano. “Members will be able to enjoy movies to their hearts’ content.”
