The 5 Cutest Cats at Lanai Cat Sanctuary

Missy the cat

With nearly 600 adorable cats at Lanai Cat Sanctuary, falling in love is easy, but choosing a favorite is nearly impossible… Meet five fabulous felines who, according to cat sanctuary manager Joe Adarna, capture the hearts and minds of hundreds of visitors each year.

5. Koa

Seven-year-old Koa is a big, friendly male cat who enjoys basking in the sun.

4. Bruno

This one-year-old ball of energy loves to jump on the shoulders of unsuspecting visitors to catch a ride around the sanctuary.

3. Botox

Botox is one of the sanctuary’s senior residents. He is 15 years young and enjoys the attention from the visitors each day.

Adoptions

If you think these cats are adorable, make sure you check out the hundreds of “Lanai Lions” at the sanctuary. All are available for adoption. Adoptions are free, but cat carriers are required to transport the cats.

Please remember that in an effort to restore the native bird population, the sanctuary does not adopt to residents who live in bird sensitive areas.

If you can’t take a cat home, consider sponsoring one instead. For $30 a month, or less than $1 a day, you can give one of our kitties the gift of a lifelong home and high-quality care, including doctor’s visits. You’ll receive an adoption certificate and monthly photo updates on your new friend.

Join the team

The sanctuary is currently hiring full-time and part-time ambassadors who can give tours to the 14,000 people who visit the grounds each year. The team is also looking to fill caregiving and veterinary assistant roles. For all roles, no experience is necessary, and positions start at $16 an hour. Full-time positions also offer full medical, dental, vision, sick leave, vacations and holidays. Contact the sanctuary at info@LanaiCatSanctuary.org to apply.
