2019 Pineapple Festival is Back

Every year the beloved Pineapple Festival celebrates Lanai’s culture, music, community and the island’s pineapple past. The 2019 celebration is packed with a mix of activities and entertainment that the whole family will enjoy. Come down to Dole Park and join the fun on Saturday, July 6, from noon to 9 p.m.
Dazzling Car Show
Cars of all types, from antique to muscle, will be on display on the lawn. Even non-traditional vehicles such as blinged-out bicycles, wheelchairs, trailers, tricycles and lawnmowers will be decorated to the nines to wow the crowd.
Plantation-Era Cook-Off
You may know Adam Tabura from around town, or perhaps you watched him take the grand prize on season four of the Food Network’s Great Food Truck Race. He’s back on Lanai to host a plantation-era cooking contest. Watch as teams race against the clock to stir up their best plantation-inspired family recipes.
Historical Exhibits
Travel back in time to the pineapple days through historical exhibits by the Lanai Culture and Heritage Center. These exhibits capture the cultural diversity of the many ethnic groups who came to Lanai nearly a century ago, a unique heritage that we are proud to be celebrating today.
Food, Crafts and More
Come hungry, leave happy. It wouldn’t be the Pineapple Festival without Lanai’s finest golden fruit. The Lanai Community Association will be offering samples of pineapple throughout the event and you can also find a host of food booths featuring your favorite local dishes. Be sure to check out the different vendors, crafts and performances by Level 3, I Drive, Steller Cats and Natalie Jeffers.
