May Day Program
Lanaʻi’s May Day Program is a yearly event that engages Lanaʻi High & Elementary students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th Grade in mele, oli, and hula performances that reflect the ancient and recent history of the island of Lanaʻi. In preparation for the event, small workshops in lei making and oli were held for both students and the Lanaʻi community at large.
