Lanai Senior Christmas Lunch Celebrates Community

The annual Senior Christmas Lunch makes the holiday season brighter and merrier for many kupuna on Lanai. Held on Christmas Day every year, the lunch at the Senior Center honors Lanai’s elder community with a hot meal, gift bags, fellowship and fun. Those seniors who cannot leave their homes to come to the event can have a home-cooked meal delivered to their door.
The lunch is hosted by the churches of Lanai and supported by local organizations and individuals, who donate time, money, gifts and food. Thanks to the help of many hands and donations, the lunch is free and open to everyone in the community, not just seniors in need.
The success of the Senior Christmas Lunch depends on the generosity of our community. Please consider helping out this year by cooking a dish or volunteering your time and talents to spread a little holiday cheer.
