Fun Events to Celebrate Festive on Lanai

Festive is here! It’s time to celebrate the season and spend time with family and friends. Have fun at the following holiday events on Lanai:

Jingle Bell Dash

Run, walk or dash for a good cause at the Jingle Bell Dash on Saturday, Dec. 23. This 1K or 5K race is a fundraising opportunity for community members to support classes, teams, clubs and groups that are near and dear to their hearts. It’s also a great reason to get outdoors and get a little exercise in before holiday feasting begins.

Runners may register for the Jingle Bell Dash until race day, Dec. 23. Even if you’re not running, you can still pledge a donation to your favorite cause, and support your family members and friends by cheering them on at the Golf Course on race day.

Race day information

Registration for the 1K begins at 8 a.m., and the race begins at 9 a.m.
Registration for the 5K opens at 9 a.m. and the race starts at 10 a.m.

Good luck to the participants!

Live music at Lanai City Bar & Grille

Enjoy sweet tunes at Lanai City Bar & Grille during festive. The restaurant is offering live music every evening through the New Year, starting Dec. 22.

Order up a few bites and drinks and settle in for an evening of entertainment on the open lanai. There’s something for everyone:

  • Olivia Thai’s R&B-infused jams
  • Simple Souls’ fresh acoustic sound
  • Reggae from Mindy Smokestack
  • Barry Flanagan from acclaimed Hawaiian music group Hapa
  • Na Hoku award-winning singer-songwriter Yoza
  • Island tunes from Lanai’s own I Drive
  • Adult contemporary from Jenna Keliikuli

Chef Jimi Lasquete is serving up fresh, local cuisine from the Grille’s new menu, and mixologists Jacob Baltero and Marcom Pascua have created a variety of handcrafted cocktails for your enjoyment.

Visit the Lanai City Bar & Grille website for the entertainment schedule.

New Year’s Eve Fireworks

There’s no better way to bid “aloha” to 2017 and ring in 2018 than with a spectacular fireworks display. Set up at Hulopoe Beach on New Year’s Eve for a perfect view of the ultimate fireworks show from the Four Seasons Resort Lanai.

This year, the fireworks show is launching from the lay down area between the luau grounds and Manele Road. Be sure to come early to find a good spot to watch, and countdown to midnight among family and friends on the shores of beautiful Hulopoe.

When the clock strikes 12, experience an amazing pyrotechnics display set to music and celebrate the beginning of a new year!
